My favorite restaurant is Shake Shack. It is a chain restaurant located on 479 New Jersey 17 Paramus, NJ. They serve gourmet takes on fast-food classics like burgers and fries, and frozen custard. From the beginning the restaurant was not meant to be a chain, but it was meant to be a single shop designed specifically for New York City. However, as the original locations sales continued to grow, the owner and his team realized that they could try to go for an expansion. Since it opened, Shake Shack has grown to be the largest part of the USHG's (Union Square Hospitality Group) portfolio. Its average store performance is $4 million which is more than twice of McDonald's average store performance within the United States. In addition to the USA locations, Shake Shack has locations in London, Istanbul, Moscow, Beirut and Dubai. Shake Shack is all about trying to go back to old fashioned burger joints with a more gourmet twist. One of their burgers are the ShackBurger which is a cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce. Another burger is the Shroom Burger which is a vegetarian option that is a crisp-fried portobello filled with muenster and cheddar cheese, topped with lettuce, tomato and ShackSauce. In adition to burgers, they sell hot dogs. One of their hot dogs is the Frisky Dog. It is a hot dog topped with spicy tomato-simmered onions and kraut. To see more options on their menu, go to their website. My favorite thing to get there is the Shroom Burger since I'm a vegetarian. If this restaurant was closed, I would probably go to Panera Bread because that is my second favorite restaurant. In conclusion, Shake Shack is a great burger place that takes you back to the past.
